Mumbai: If the grapevine is to be believed, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is all set to play late crime journalist Jyotirmoy Dey, popularly known as J Dey, in director-producer Nandita Singgha's upcoming biopic 'Mid Dey'.Also, rumours suggest that Hollywood fame Emma Watson will be featured opposite 'PK' star in the film.
Reportedly, Khan will start shooting the biopic before his upcoming venture 'Dangal'.
A source close to Mr. Perfectionist says, “Aamir is thinking to postpone his shoot for Dangal since he wants to accommodate dates for Mid Dey after seeing the energy, clarity, and international cinema vision of Nandit Singha."
“Mid Dey is messy and connects mainly with every segment of an Indian and international audience. By doing Mid Dey, Aamir will become the voice of Indian journalists in international cinema.” he adds.
However, there's no official announcement about the same.
Commander J who was the editor of MiD DAY was murdered by some sharpshooters on June 11, 2011. The story of the film will revolve around his personal and professional life and will also include his murder case.
If the rumoured couple will be finalised for the project, then this biopic will mark Emma's Bollywood debut.
