0' First Quarter about to get underway..
Both the teams have gone in with the same 4-3-3 formation.
Poland currently are placed fourth in the group.
India are placed second in the group, just behind Australia.
The players are warming up just before the national anthem.
Just IN: Rupinderpal Singh is still not fit and will not feature in this game.
India just about managed to avoid a French embarrassment on Saturday, pulling off a 3-2 win in the dying minutes of their opener in the FIH Hockey World League semi-finals in Antwerp. But what grabbed the most eyeballs was Manpreet Singh stepping up in the drag-flicker's position and score.
Like France, the Polish also have some speedy strikers who can mount brisk counters, as they displayed against Pakistan, and the Indian defence will have to make amends of their erratic show in the opening match.
But Sardar Singh seems to be confident of his side.
"You cannot take any rival likely. The world rankings do not matter when you step into the field," said Sardar Singh.
