Five Company Policies That Scream 'We Hate Our Employees'

We are moving into a new era in the workplace. For years people have shuffled into work in the morning  and shuffled out at night, not questioning the way their organizations were run. People put up with stupid HR policies and mindless rules because they got something good in exchange.
They got a decent level of job security, decent pay and generally some room for advancement.
Corporations are run more like day-labor outfits now. No one has any job security. In some jobs, like the head of marketing or the CIO, the average tenure in the role is under three years. Non-leadership employees can be cut from the payroll at any moment.
Why would working people put up with stupid rules at work these days? Anybody with an ounce of self-esteem is going to look for a better job when they’re treated badly at work. Can we blame them?
These five crusty and outdated HR policies have no place in the modern working world, yet they hang on. Does your company follow any of these five talent-repelling policies? I hope not!
These policies scream “We hate you, employees! You are a dime a dozen!”
Practices like the ones on our list dare people with other options to go work for somebody who respects them.
If you haven’t done so lately, pull out your company’s Employee Handbook and take a look at it. If reading your employee handbook makes you angry or depressed, maybe God wants you to find another job!
